Lukas Appel richt zich vooral op ruimtelijke ontwerpen, van wooninrichting tot meubelbouw.
De voetbalclub S.V. ALLIANCE ’22 heeft Lukas gevraagd bij te staan bij de bouw van een nieuw clubhuis.
Vol goede ideeën heeft Lukas contact opgenomen met RoboCNC voor een leuk en bijzonder project.
Het idee was om het club logo in de bar te gaan verwerken, maar niet schilderen, nee met diepte.
Na heel wat mailtjes over en weer, en diverse aanpassingen kwamen wij uit op dit ontwerp :
Het 2D frezen van het logo met verschillende dieptes geeft een erg leuk effect.
Dit word gedaan in meerdere stappen, te beginnen met een 6mm frees.
Het is een hoop materiaal om weg te frezen, en neemt een behoorlijke tijd in beslag.
Maar uiteraard gaat kwaliteit boven kwantiteit.
Na de grote vlakken word met een 3mm freesje het restant materiaal weg gefreesd.
Hiermee ontstaan scherpere binnen hoeken.
Hiermee was het werk voor RoboCNC weer gedaan, en de rest van de credits gaan naar Lukas.
Hij heeft verder de bar gebouwd voor SV Alliance, waarin dit logo dus is gebruikt.
Iedereen kan nu tijdens de derde helft van de wedstrijd naar dit schitterende logo kijken.
En uiteraard is ook bij dit project weer een ‘making of’ video gemaakt…

[..YouTube..] Waterjet can also make beautiful things.. but of course this is really different.I do not really know 2×2, i guess je mean the size? Its +- 60cm x 100cm And it does have a seperate 4th axis indeed, see one of my other videos..
